I don't know why, but on the buttons on the side there is no more option to go into forest? Why?

We had some trouble with bots here a few days ago, maybe the person who deleted the bot posts accidentally got yours too?

Are you sure you didn't just type the message and then 'navigate' away from the page, without pressing enter I mean. I do that sometimes too.... makes me feel old.

perhaps. Can't say for sure. But it does look like the bots are out in full strength today.
