Oh My God!

Oh my God! I can't believe it... I have lost in the forest... I know I'm not supposed to cuz I'm an elf and we know the forest but... man, the trees of this one move!!! :o I took a path to go to the stream and I appeared here! That's crazy! :rolleyes: If I just could have something hot to drink... I'm thirsty and frozen! :(

Hi all there by the way... oh... hello?

[Shiqra]

Shiqra is lurching through an unfamiliar part of the Forest on her clockwork cassowary, slaying pesky forest vermin, and trying to get back into the rhythm. "It's been ages since I have hunted here! I've forgotten how it goes."

She is in mid-rant about Gnomish engineering when she comes upon a lost elf shivering in a strange clearing. "Good day, stranger. Are ye lost? I can show ye back to Degolburg. There's an Inn there with good Ale, crusty bread and hearty stew that should warm your bones. Care for a lift? There's room on my mount if ye wish to ride." She extends a hand to the girl to help her up onto the Cassowary.

[Meira]

Meira is sitting on the grass with her hands in her head when she hear a voice and steal a glance while the lady is not looking... then she says "er... yes I'm lost... what's wrong with this forest?? I came to this region to live new expieriences and I definitely did! wow....". Meira stare at the lady... "she looks familiar to me".... "I will go with her"... Meira takes her hand and try to ride the Cassowary... Then they go away and disappear through the undergrowth.

[Shiqra]

Shiqra guides the Cassowary as it lurches and screeches through through the underbrush, sparks flying from its limbs. "Sorry - I'm a little rusty at the controls. It has been a long time since I've ridden this. I think I need to oil the gears."

After a harrowing ride through the Forest, and only getting lost once...ok...twice, the Cassowary lurches onto a well-traveled road. In the distance the walls of the capital city of the realm can be seen. Once in town, Shiqra stables the smoking mount with instructions for a good oiling once it cools off, and leads the lost elf into the Boar's Head Inn. Tossing a pouch of gold on the bar, she greets the large mustachioed man behind the bar. "Cedrick! Two ales and a bowl of your beef stew please - and a hunk of bread on the side."

She leads the girl to a table near the back and motions for her to sit. "So, young one - what is your name and from whence do ye hail? I don't recall seeing you in these parts. Oh - and don't mind Mess over there. He's always like that..."

[Meira]

Meira drinks some ale and while she devours the stew, she looks at Shiqra's eyes and says "My name is Meira Tinúviel and I'm from Armach-nesti..." slurping.... "I ran from my community to get expirience and...." slurping and eating some bread "ok... uhum... because they've been using their black magic hurting deliberately to get power to rule the Three Moons..." sadly looking to nowhere "I... I just want to start again... I'm not that kind of elf..." finishing the stew "I just want to do good to others".

Meira look at Shiqra and says "You've been good with me and I will never forget it, I want to give you something". Meira puts her hand in her own breast, close her eyes and says some words in an elfic language that Shiqra doesn't understand... suddenly, a white sunlight goes out from Meira's breast and she puts it in her hand, open her eyes and gives it to Shiqra. "Here you have a glimmer of hope, it will give you light when all you see is dark." Meira smiles and finish her ale. :)

[Shiqra]

Shiqra takes the glimmer and holds it carefully. "Thank ye kindly, good elf. And I think you have found the right place to make a fresh start. Many adventures await ye in this realm!"

Shiqra's attention is drawn to the stage, where the resident bard and all-around ladies man Seth has taken the stage, surrounded by squealing females. She watches while he tunes his lute and shamelessly flirts with the barmaid Violet, much to the dismay of the squealing females.
