Hi,
I noticed yet some times, that when you snap out of a trance, the gypsi doesn't 'remember' that you just came out of it. It just goes back to the entering screen, asking the same thing as before the trance.
I looked around a bit what other characters say / do after someone does something specific. They all seem to have some special text.
E.g. the old man in the h.tavern, when playing, he asks if you wanna play again, with appropriate buttons (Do you want to play again? | other games | Back to the inn) - so it is with the Jewelry ( continue looking ) and so forth.
the gypsi's the only one that doesn't have something alike. (as far as I've seen, I'd like to add ;) )
So it would be great for the atmosphere, if after snapping out of a trance you'd see something like this:
You snap out of you're Trance and find yourself back with the living. You feel the cold in thy bones fading away, while the gypsi looks curiously at you.
"Did you find the way to the death?" she asks politely, good knowing that you indeed did find your way. But as a good merchant, she wants to make more money, so she bothers you again, to go into the trance.
Have you lost something in the land of the shades? Do you really want to go back there?
[Yes, Snap back into trance for #amount# gold]
[no, leave the tent and go back to axebridge]
OR
As you snap out of the trance, you find yourself lying on the seer's couch. "what ... ?" You ask her, still confused by what happened. "You were where you wanted to be: In the Land of the shades. That is, where Ramius rules." She scurries to the back of the tent and rakes in some stuff. You slowly get up, but still need her table to hold on. She comes back with some herbs. "Take these, and you'll feel better right away. And now go out, I have other customers to serve!"
You take the herbs thankfully, put them in the mouth and leave the tent.
[Return to axebridge]
OR
something else :)
So... it's just a suggestion. And my english's not that good. But to show you what I mean, it's okay, isn't it? Even if there's missing the nice subvocals and humor of the rest of the site. But this thing, I leave to you :D
cheers
