Last night, and again this morning I tried to send a YoM to the Lady of the Manor <edit> on DragonPrime Server . I typed her name into the search box, and her name came up with the compose window. I wrote my message and hit send. I got this error, twice now:
"Could not find the recipient, please try again.
Mail Box"

Ok - I KNOW I had her name right because she had a custom title, and it came up with the compose window. Yet it won't send - or at least that is what it is telling me. I can reply to a message just fine. Help!

Incidentally, I PMed her here - so hopefully she will get my YoM one way or another...

PS: I cannot for some reason write a Yom at all. I get the same error no matter who I try to write to. Does this have to do with being on Wen?

Is this on the beta site (lotgd.dragonprime.net) ?

We are fixing some areas in the code that check for login names. It looks as though the fix hasn't.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I am sorry that you can't contact your friend! I'll get the geeks to have a look into it ;)

I tested this and discovered that it only happens with you get an exact match for the user, as the name isn't put into the hidden <input>. If you have to choose from the drop-down list, it works fine.

WOO! Thank you kickme! =)

Try searching for "ladn", Shiqra. I have just checked the list warriors and found another player with those four letters in order (Slayer drinn). If I'm not mistaken, the search is happy to skip letters in between and should return both players to a drop down list for you.

WOO! Thank you!! I used kickme's hint and got the YoM off to her. Serves me right for being exact and typing her name all the way out hehehe. Now I'll just type in a few letters like Lauri said and let it do the work for me! Thanks all!

And it's a good thing too because my PM didn't go through it seems :( . The server had heartburn this morning.

I received a reply from my test, but it had the same subject as the one I sent. No "Re:"

This seems to be because it isn't added in the subject field after clicking reply.

talked to a buddy that is trying to run it and his is doing the same thing. He is currently trying to find something to read the boot up log to see if he can find what its hanging up on. Are you trying to dual boot?
