light realm

[Ithilden]

You enter the light realm, A place only Light Guardians and those they choose may pass. The beginning of the Realm is as though you've walked into a black and white movie, however the colors are remarkable light. The sky is the only thing at first that can be noted to have any color at all. A deep rich purple sky hovers above you as you look onto hills, mountains, and the forest before you.

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune looks around, shortswords out. "So... Do we kill a lot of stuff?"

[Ithilden]

*enters* she looks around a moment. This looks slightly different then I remember. I'm not sure what is to befall us

[Noah]

Falls on his back, his wings and Dragon gone ....Hmm...

[DruneSilentarrow]

He looks around, "So, where to?"

[Noah]

Stands up, and brushes off. He transforms into his physical form "Don't know."

[Ithilden]

*sighs* let me call for some transportation, then I will figure out where we've landed.

*she sings a melody of words unknown to the others, for they are the words of the old elven, long since forgotten by those not of her blood. Two Pegasus and one unicorn appear.*

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune walks over to one of the Pegasi, peting it's flanks. He mounts.

[Noah]

Looks a bit....apprehensive. "....I'd rather run. I'm not sure how to ride a mount."

[Ithilden]

we'll get there faster if you ride. Take the other Pegasi, he'll be gentle as he can. Riding one is more like you are flying anyways.

*she nuzzles the Unicorn alittle and mounts*

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune smiles, remembering the first time he meet a unicorn.

[Noah]

"I....mmmm...." He *tries* to get on the pegasus, but falls flat on his back on the ground. After a dozen or so tries, he finally gets it.

[Ithilden]

*watches, trying not to laugh* Riight...well, sit here one moment.

*she whispers something to her steed* it speeds off in a blur with her on it into the forest. After a moment she returns*

Well, the way to the elders temple is through that bit of wood over there, over the mountain, then down the valley till we reach the lake.

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune nods, "Um, how do you make it go?" refering to his pegasus.

[Noah]

Nods "Then we should hurry."

[Ithilden]

Well, the wording is Telah

at the word the three mounts begin to trot

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune blinks then eases back, just like riding a horse. He munches on some dried meat.

[Noah]

"Woah...."

[Ithilden]

*looks at Noah* that wont work.

*She braces herself* we've no time to waste, hold on tight

*she mutters something as the mounts begin to gallop, the unicorn leading the way.*

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune entwines his fingers carefully in the pegasus' mane. He is keeping hold rather well.

[Ithilden]

*looks as though she has done this her whole life, and in some truths she has.*

the elders will not be happy that I brought outsiders....but I haven't the strength to deal with them myself.

[Noah]

Finds himself on the ground. He shakes off his concussion...and looks around "Where'd everyone go...."

[DruneSilentarrow]

He glances over at her, "So, what are we going to do? Um... Where is Noah?"

[Ithilden]

*sighs again and turns around, heading back up to Noah*

hop on and hold on tight

*she holds out her arm*

[Noah]

Blinks and gets on. He braces for anything too fast "Where's the other pegasus...?"

[Ithilden]

he left when you didn't hold on, he will make it to our destination before we do.

*she speaks again and they begin towards the lake, first passing the woods*

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune looks at Ithi again, "What do we do when we get to our destination?"

[Ithilden]

*continues into the woods where the steeds slow to a walk*

well, according to if they will let her go or I must force them to do so, we will just have to see

[Noah]

Takes out the glass rose....and stares at it ".....It's my fault....I should have given it to her when I had the chance....."

[Ithilden]

no need to cast blame on yourself, if it werent for my desire to live, I'd have been here in stead of her

[DruneSilentarrow]

:Drune looks at Noah, "So, this is your fiance' or something?"

[Noah]

"I made a promise....I won't break it now."

Blushes "Well...err...no..."

[Ithilden]

*raises her eyebrow, watching the woods*

this is something I haven't heard yet....she's WHAT?!?!?!?

[Noah]

Looks nervous now..... "What is it!?"

[Ithilden]

*shakes her head.*

Nothing, but what is this? your engaged to her?!?!?!

[Noah]

"N-no!! It'd be news to me!"

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune smiles, "I was just guessing. I really was not paying attention when I volunteered..."

[Ithilden]

oh....oh look, that was easy, we're through the woods.

right as she says that the woods end, and all looks safe for the second. But too soon the sigh of relief, for one of the light realm guardians appears. Nine firey large cats appear, and they dont seem to reconize Ithilden as a light guardian. They attack!

[Noah]

Pulls out a few kunai "Great...."

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune gets of his pegasus, unused to fighting while riding He draws his rapier. Waiting for any advice that Ithi has against these mythical animals

[Ithilden]

*leaps with great ease off her Unicorn, leaving Noah on. She holds her hand out as a staff appears. At one end of the staff is a crystal blue stone.*

As you might have guessed, Ice is their weakness, but they are quick and not easy to hit. if you can avoid their claws, then I will attempt to slow them down enough to use the element against them, I will enchant your weapons.

*she blinks as her eyes go black again. Both Noah and Drunes weapons glow the same blue as the stone in her staff*

[Noah]

Nods, and hops off the pegasus, and onto one of the flaming cats. "Be a good kitty..." He stabs the kunai into it's leg and jumps off of it. He doesn't appear to be burnt.

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune does so, dodging to the best of his abilities while stabbing with his rapier, rarely missing. He fells one of the large beasts.

[Ithilden]

*stands completely still. Two of the cats approach her, twisting their tails in anticipation. She waits till they both leap and twirls her staff. A icy sphere apears around herself and them and for a second she appears frozen with them. She moves like a ghost through the ice.*

try not to kill them, if you wound them enough, they will freeze. Leave one unfrozen.

[Noah]

Nods "Got it." He takes five kunai...all laced with invisible wire (Also enchanted). He throws them In five, what seems, random direction, and puts all five wires. It immediately catches a lunging cat

[DruneSilentarrow]

Froze the cat then. Two cats approach him quickly. He deftly sheaths his rapier and pulls out his shortswords. In a blur of movement the end result is a frozen cat, a cat that is sleeping soundly, and a Drune with a very tattered shirt, showing his mithril chain shirt underneath as well as a few scrapes on his arms and legs.

[Noah]

"Nice one."

[Ithilden]

*holds her staff out as a barrier between her and a slashing cat. it leaps over her staff and knocks her down, the staff skids off somewhere.

Who so daringly enters the realm for the pure? it growls in her face.

[Ithilden]

The Starless One seeks those who hold captive her blood.

*she balls up her fist and punches the cat in the side of the face. There is no burn on her and she punches it again and again until it swaggers off of her.*

[Noah]

Can't believe what he's seeing....

[DruneSilentarrow]

Can't either, so a cat sneaks up be hind him and jumps on Drune, pinning him. Drune cries out, being the only non-flame resistant person.

[Ithilden]

there are two more guys, get them, this is the one we'll keep unfrozen

*leaps onto the back of the swaggering cat and continues to beat on it*

[Ithilden]

*hears the scream*

damn it!

She jumps off the cat and rushes over, tearing off the cat from Drunes back.

[DruneSilentarrow]

Rolls, smoke rising from his back he gets ho a knee, and heals him self. "Thank you."

[Noah]

Runs to the second one, and rapidly starts punching it from on top of it. He digs two kunai into it

[Ithilden]

*nods, still having the other one from the back and neck. She holds it face to face with her.*

with that she punches it in the stomach, as it goes flying into the one that she had on her before. Both cats collapse and the one that went flying freezes.

[DruneSilentarrow]

Drune gestures to the sleeping cat. "Do you need that any more?"

[Ithilden]

*shakes her head*

no, I needed the talking one, I found out which one that was.

saying that she heads over to the one still under the frozen one.

[Noah]

Looks around, listening for anything else

[DruneSilentarrow]

Watches her.

[Ithilden]

*picks up the fozen one and tosses it over lightly to the side. She then holds the talking one by the back of the neck.*

I want you to go before us, let the other guardians know I'm coming and I want no more interferences. Then get to the Elders and let them know the Starless one is here for the Blessed, and I wont stop till I have her back.

The cat nods and runs off towards the mountains.

and they call themselves the nine cats of hell, humph!

[DruneSilentarrow]

Returns to his mount.

[Ithilden]

*finds the Unicorn standing ready nearby.*

that is the last time I bet that the Elders claim ownership to some of the Devils animals..... lets go

mounts the Unicorn and waits for Noah.

[Noah]

Laughs slightly. He regains his wings, and spreads them "Let's keep moving."

[Ithilden]

Stops the story to be played out more the next day and bids adue to the two of them.
