My question is what determines how much gold you have on hand when you awaken after a dragon kill.

Is it how much gold you have on hand or how much you have in the bank? Or is it preset?

Thanks :)

Short answer: It's a preset.

A bit of explanation:
As far as I know (and I hope it's not a game secret), you have an determinate amount of ogld when you wake up... it's always the same, although it could grow asa you have more DKs (I think sometime I saw my income increased, but I'm not sure of this point).

Then it's possible that when you wake up, someone cares enough for ye and left you a gift :D

It's #DK*50 + 50.

No, it's not... Booger certainly doesn't get 10,000 gold for killing the dragon. There is a cap in place.

you might watch to see what factor(s) might influence the gold. in my experience, the gold is always the same unless i happened to have done something astounding or sometimes if others have done something generous.

yes i am being purposefully vague as i don't really like to give spoilers even when the title says it. sorry but it really is not that hard to figure out.

*Nods*. The amount may differ, however it's not an earth shattering amount...

I currently get one of two amounts of gold and gems for a DK - one only happens when I manage a certain difficult feat. Without revealing any secrets, I can say that even the larger amount of gold isn't enough to make a huge difference.

I've noticed lately that after a DK, I receive a certain amount of gems too, and I didn't know where they come from... And still have no clue :P (well, some guessings...)
