LotGD.net listing...

I've noticed that on the list of servers running LotGD, via the LotGD.NET listing, that many entries use colours, etc. How do you get colours into the listing? What's the special coding that is used? Can you give me an example to make something, say red?

I am amazed that someone who hosts a server does not know how to play it. I cannot fathom how you will support your users when they ask for assistance. I hope you have installed this to practice PHP (in which case you do not want to list on there as it will attract players).

Might I suggest you kill the dragon a few times on another server somewhere to get to know the game a bit before hosting it yourself?

Well that's harsh. The reason I ask is that the colours could be from perhaps an HTML type code like:

<font color="#eeff00" ...>
...or something more php based:

...
...So that's why I asked.

Seeing as how your second code is not PHP, but BBCode :P I suggest you do what Saucy is saying, and learn more about the game. :) Besides, nothing says "newbie" about PHP, like a Guess and Check attitude. ;)

As well, if you want to know about colors, I suggest you visit a local vendor, and persuade him with the right price. ;)

What they're getting at is that the colors are done the same way as in the game, which is generally a game secret that anyone with a few dks generally figures out. If you haven't managed a few dks on a server, you probably shouldn't be hosting your own, or at least not publically hosting it.
