I've encountered an event monster on the way to Degolburg, the Gorgon, I think it was. Was that one of the new tattoo monsters or something?
In any case, after it was through with me, leaving me with only 1 HP and some 3k exp poorer, I went on my merry way. Only to be killed by a random encounter up next. Leaving me poorer exp-wise by another 10%. That's basically my whole day's gain! And the way the RNG works, this may become too often for comfort!!!
So I would like to ask the admins or somebody, please, recode this so that it either (a) only appears if you do a forest search or (b) kills you off entirely.
Now for a bit of ranting about my luck today...
!@#$%^&*()(^%$#@!@#$%))&^%$#@#$%^&**#$(*()&*^$
@$%@^%*(^*&$$@##%^*^&%^$%*&^ !!!!!!!!!!
Ah, that felt better...
<Edited> Think i'm supposed to put spoilers in here... So... Text'll be yellow, then...
*Edited by BD so it was readable(actualy there was no real game secret or spoiler in that post)*

Please do not type in colors hard to read. Also, these forums are a positive environment, so rants and whining are strongly discouraged.

Eh? But the colours are there because of possible spoilers....
2.) In the act of explaining a game secret you may not do so in the Newbie section of the Forums, and when doing so elsewhere you are to add a "SPOILER" above the text or somewhere within the title of the subject. Also if part of your post is a spoiler write that part out in yellow and tell people that if they want to view that spoiler to highlight it, thus giving them a choice to read or to not read the spoiler.
That's part of the forum rules, isn't it?
And okay, sorry about the ranting... *Grins sheepishly...*

The monster is weighted according to your capacity to buy jewellery. HUH?
It means... if you are a low DK player, it is weaker. If you are a high DK player and have no jewellery, it will hit you harder.
It is currently too common and I have apologised and changed that. I am only human =)
It will go live on the server as soon as the code is updated.

Well, buy the lowest. Save some gems. Sell the lowest back and buy the next one up... =)

you said, 80% retention?
*does a LOT of math*
you realise your talking about quite a bit more then the tottal of 1550 gems, to work up one stone at a time?
you've set quite the task to get max jewlry...
far longer then it would take to get tatto's

True, but it is doable. After the HP Apocalypse, I ended up with more than that in gems, so I had obviously picked up that many over time. It's not quick, but you aren't required to have all of the jewelry either. It's just nice to have.

Hm, I bought all the jewelry. Every last piece. And when I meet the Gorgon, it dies quickly and messily - and providing a nice benefit as it does so, I might add... :)
