I REALLY HATE GOLINDA!!!

I thought about it a long time ago but never said a word about it, but I think now is about time...

Once you achieved a certain number of DKs, XP is no longer so much important, as you can basically kill everyone in the Fields, and GOLD starts to be the real problem, because there is no way to speed up your earnings that much...

So it makes me think about the things I've never said about Golinda, the things that make me angry, for those of us who can't aford to visit Golinda gold is a VERY important thing, and the people that can visit Golinda get a very BIG advantage in this point as they only pay half the price for a heal, and if you do what most of us do and get more and more hitpoints healing gets REALLY expensive so it is an even BIGGER advantage for those who can visit Golinda...

With the new ability to feed your mount, once again GOLD gtes even more important so more advantages for those who can visit Golinda as the feeding is quite expensive!!!

I don't know how you guys feel about it but I REALLY HATE GOLINDA!!!

Perhaps there should be a way other than a cash donation to the site to get to visit Golinda. Having made that suggestion, I have no idea what that other way should be...

There is - contests, bug reports and referrals can all earn ye donator points.

Now, this is just a suggestion, mind you, but have you ever considered altering your playing style?

Maybe setting different priorities on purchasing equipment?

Or trying a different set of powers?

Or a different mount?

Or a different race?

Or a different spending strategy? You can conserve gold by only healing 80-90%, or by sleeping in the fields.

There are combinations that favor defense, or healing, or gaining gold.

All I'm saying is that if lack of gold for healing is an issue for you, then try to experiment so that you minimize the need for the healer or maximize your chances to gain gold.

I didn't post this because I'm in trouble, I'm not, I almost never heal and my equipment is usually maxed around level 8, I don't have any gold problems, I posted this message because I think Golinda is a highly unfair advantage for those who donate...

This is where you are mistaken, NOT everyone can donate, donations require money, and not everybody has money to spare...

Someone has to pay for the bandwidth.... donations make the site free, so any advantage is hardly overwhelming.
