I was just wondering how many people like Linkin Park and if you are a member of the Linkin Park Underground? If you are a member of LPU what is your screen name. (I'm Angul)

I like some of their stuff. Mostly just what has been played on the local rock/pop station. I've never heard any of their other songs than that.

The songs on the CD's are better in my opinion than what is played on the radio with maybe the exception of "Numb" and "In the End". *runs off to listen to "Lying From You"*

I think I'm too old to really get into Linkin Park.
Its this whole "Nu Metal" thing. Its not new, and its not metal, so why call it that?

/me goes off to blast some Slayer

Dance with the dead in my dreams
Listen to their hallowed screams
The dead have taken my soul
Temptation's lost all control

Headbangs, in slow motion, 'cause that part of the song is kinda slow. ;)

Angul, I love LP I got all their CD's and I wish I was a member of LPU.
Wicked big fan, I'm going to their concert Jan. 17th at the Centrum Centre in Worcestor, Mass.

*must kill Xecutioner* just kidding. hope you have fun. Too bad my aunt doesn't live there anymore or she would be going too! Have you got "Live in Texas"? I'm still trying to get that Frat house DVD. I'll have 6 CD's once i get my LPU CD. Granted one is burned but then i turned around and bought it cause i felt guilty. Although the burned CD had a very different version of In the End on it. It goes,

"It starts with one and mutiplies till you can taste the sun and burnt by the sky you try to take it from but if it falls there is no place to run crumbling down...."

I wonder which CD or DVD that is from. Hmmmm....

I like Linkin Park. I don't care if its in my usual genre, if its out, if its on the moon, I don't care..They're good, and I likes them. I copied my cousin's "Hybrid Theory" a while ago and I bought "Meteora" about a month ago...And then my mom got it for me AGAIN for Christmas. >.> That will be exchanged for the 2nd CD. I'll probably get the Texas one, too. I didn't sign up for LPU, though...

I've never heard that version of In The End. o.o Could it be from the 2nd CD with all the remixes?

No that's the funny thing. It's not from the second cd. It's on the one that was burned for me but when i bought the actual cd it was a different song. Plus i just had a brainstorm and looked up the lyrics and i can't find them anywhere.

Maybe it's a lost track, or *gasp* an imposter band on the burned CD!!

Update....as i was surfing the LPU today i came across a thread called favourite song. Well some people people were listing songs i've never heard of by Linkin Park. The one that caught my eye was "the Wizard Song" so i looked it up and low and behold a whole list of songs by LP and Chez's old band Grey Daze showed up and i found that song. Sooooo it is not an imposter and now i have to go and find all those songs and see if i can get someone to burn them for me cause they aren't on any cd's.

Now you've opened up a whole can of worms. Good luck in your search!

Good luck on your search, Angul. Kazaaaaaaaaa! (People tell me you have to pay for the new version..but we don't. Hm. Perhaps they are only rumors from those that do not want me to listen to music. Evil government people, I tell you.) I like Chester's singing voice a lot. It's so cool, especially on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. I likes it, likes it lots, I do.

*Thinks she'll cry* I can't download songs on my computer because it is so old and so slow. And then i looked on ebay and i saw an item for 55 unreleased songs (refers to the general public) by LP and Chester's old group. Plus it's from Japan so it is entirely feasible.....except i don't have a paypal account. *sobs and runs off and begs her mother to set up a paypal account and by it for her*

Y'know, one of the guys (Rob, I think his name is) from them went out with me on my birthday last year, as he's a friend of a friend.
He's pretty cool...not in that fake way that even semi-famous musicians can be.

Update: Xecutioner will be attending teh Projekt Revolution tour mainly to see Linkin Park and Korn... (The others - Snoop Dogg, The Used, Less than Jake...) It will be awesome. And Angul, yes, I do have "Live in Texas... also Hybrid Theory EP, LP, Reanimation, Meteora, Frat House, Tribute, and a burnt CD with all the piano versions of their songs...
They've got to be the best band ever, no doubt about it!
