I posted this in the village; dong so here again so there is no question.

Fred is now the Rabbit - if noone manages to kill him in the next two days, JCP will dress someone else in the bunny suit. This applies to everyone - if for any reason the rabbit does not change hands within two days, it will be reassigned. Thus will everyone have a fair chance at it.

I'm going to say two real days...as in 48 hours' time...and probably kick myself later for being wrong, but go with that for now.

So.. you started the white rabbit with Sneakabout. He's a HIGH level player, which only high level players can kill, in turn keeping the white rabbit a high level player. How are the lower level players going to get a chance to kill any such white rabbit? It doesn't matter what level each of those high level players are - I'm a level 10 now, and I constantly get butchered by level 7 players who've beefed up their stats with many Dragon Kills. Even if the next white rabbit (for example, MCD since he killed Sneak) is a level 1, no person with fewer than 20 DK's and beefy stats, even if they're a level 3, is going to be able to kill him.

I think this whole contest enables strong players to become stronger. Even if by chance someone with 10DK's or less manages to kill a power player as the white rabbit, that person will immediately be killed by a high level player starting the entire cycle again.

Can I opt to be OUT of the competition? I don't need more reasons for someone to kill me. I already have people killing me on a daily basis no matter my stats. Oh, yeah. Those are the same people who will hog the white rabbit status because they're too powerful to be killed.

Yes, but if no one kills McD, then I assign the next White Rabbit, who will not necessarily be a high DK player.

This whole contest does work off the pvp system - which lets strong players get stronger and discriminates against weaker players.

No, you cannot opt out of the contest. If people are already killing you, then they can't kill you more. This may force people to choose their kills more carefully, and may let some non-clan players breathe a little easier for a while.

The contest is only for 2 weeks, so it shouldn't be a terrible inconvenience. And with different strategies for the contest, it should shake up the demographics a bit.

And it's two real days. If a strong player gets it, then there will be less bonus points to spread around.

Easy Dargh...easy. You're forgetting one very important thing - if noone kills Fred in the next two days, the rabbit will be reassigned, randomly, by JCP. It may well be a farmcreature (tm) who becomes the next white rabbit. So while, yes, the higher-ups may have their usual advantage in fights, they really don't have it with anything else.

The clans that they're in aren't getting any help, since any points they get are divided by their total DKs. The farmcreatures (tm) and lower ranked people have a distinct advantage there.

So yes, while you probably will get killed a bit more often than usual, one would hope you could live with it for two weeks. Its a game, all in the name of fun...just enjoy it...cheer your clan on...get into the spirit of things. And of course, have a Happy New Year.

As far as the rules go ... I believe it does (as long as the killer isn't in the top 10) but the clan doesn't get points for the white rabbit, kill or the bounty.

Preventing people from getting points is as important as gaining them yourself.

And rabbit status is an individual, not clan, competition.

The rules allow for this sort of thing. Rabbit status transfers, but no points are awarded. This was a strategy I did anticipate, and we'll see how successful it is.

When Luin killed Vorgase, Vorgase kept the white rabbit because of the top 10 rule. Vorgase is BAD so should Sneakabout get the bonus for BAD when he killed a BAD clan member?
